Other Financial Aids

Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional Loan (PTPTN)

The PTPTN loan amount will vary depending on the total cost of the chosen programme, and the borrowed amount will be credited in two disbursements into the student’s designated savings account. Generally, the first disbursement will be done 1 (one) month after the student’s required documents are approved. The maximum loan amount is RM21,360.

Biasiswa Yayasan Bank Rakyat

The Biasiswa Yayasan Bank Rakyat is open to all underprivileged Malaysians regardless of race, religion, and ethnicity. Students applying must undertake full-time study at a local public or private higher education institution or training institution recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Employee Provident Fund (EPF) Withdrawal Scheme for Education

All EPF members below 55 years of age are eligible to apply for the Withdrawal Scheme for Education (if they have savings in Account II). Members may withdraw up to the maximum amount of the tuition fees of their balance in Account II.

Hadiah Anak Masuk Universiti (HADIAH IPT) from Kerajaan Negeri

This fund is open to applicants who, alongside their parents, are Malaysian citizens. They must be a citizen of His Majesty the Sultan of Selangor Darul Ehsan, who was born and currently reside in the State of Selangor.

Domestic Convertible Loan (PBUDN) from Selangor State Government

The PBUDN Loan is open to applicants who, together with their parents, are either Malaysian citizens born in Selangor OR applicants who have been residing in Selangor for more than 10 years. Applicants must also have previously registered for full-time studies in their undergraduate programme.

Higher Education Scholarship Assistance from the Selangor Zakat Board

The Higher Education Scholarship Assistance from the Selangor Zakat Board is open to underprivileged and converted “Asnaf” students registered with the Selangor Zakat Board (MAIS). Students must be pursuing the first year of their studies at educational institutions listed as ‘LZS School Panel’.

Selangor Foundation Loan

Applicants can apply for the Yayasan Selangor Student Loan to study at a local Public Institution of Higher Education (IPTA) or Private Institution of Higher Education (IPTS) recognised by the Malaysian Government on a full-time basis.

IPT Initial Assistance Scheme from Federal Territory Foundation

This fund is only available to Malaysian citizens. Interested applicants must reside in the Federal Territory, and application requirements and criteria will vary depending on whether the applicant has reached 18 years of age.
