ESG Statement
Building on our vision to integrate creativity, arts and technology that transforms people and communities, CATS College’s community of students, faculty and staff embrace environmental stewardship as a fundamental value that underpins everything we do. We are committed to responsible consumption, protecting the natural environment, and ethical management of resources.
In realising this aspiration, our ESG focus is captured in the following areas.
Education
As an education and knowledge provider, we aim to integrate ESG topics into all our courses and embed sustainability values within the curricula to produce innovative graduates who are environmentally responsible and understand the value of diversity, inclusion, equity and human rights in preserving ecosystems. Environmental literacy will be a common theme that frames all syllabi, content and delivery.
Campus Culture
CATS College community commits to reducing our environmental footprint by
- Subscribing to more energy-efficient practices such as using energy-efficient light bulbs, choosing laptops over desktops, and educating staff and students on energy-saving features of appliances and other electronics like printers, microwaves and air conditioners.
- Conserving water and installing renewables where possible.
- Establishing a companywide recycling programme.
- Introducing a paperless office where printing is only done when it is necessary.
Resource Stewardship
